  • Identity/verification information: documentation submitted to verify a producer, feedlot, or processor account

1.2 Information We Do Not Collect or Store

  • Banking and payment details. All card numbers, bank account/routing numbers, and wire transfer credentials are collected and stored exclusively by Stripe, Inc., WGB's third-party payment processor. WGB never receives or stores this information on the Platform.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, general location (city/region)
  • Log data: pages viewed, listings searched, time and date of access
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Facilitate listings, quotes, and communication between buyers and sellers
  • Verify User identity and prevent fraud
  • Send transactional notifications (listing updates, quote activity, account alerts)
  • Send marketing communications, where permitted, which you may opt out of at any time
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and agricultural reporting obligations
  • Analyze usage to improve marketplace features and performance

3. How We Share Information

  • Other Users: listing details and relevant contact/communication information are shared with counterparties to facilitate a transaction.
  • Stripe: payment and banking details you submit are sent directly to Stripe for processing; WGB does not act as an intermediary for this data.
  • Service providers: vendors who support hosting, analytics, customer support, or transport coordination, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and regulatory: disclosures required by law, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WGB or Users.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell User personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
